Fat Tire Beer Cheese
Ingredients
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
4 oz about 1 cup cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup Fat Tire Amber Ale or any amber ale of your choice
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional garnishes: chopped green onions crispy bacon bits, or chopped jalapeƱos
Directions
Allow the cream cheese to soften at room temperature for about 30 minutes to make mixing easier.
Mix the softened cream cheese and grated sharp cheddar cheese in a bowl. Use an electric hand mixer or a food processor until they become smooth and creamy.
Slowly pour in the Fat Tire Amber Ale while continuing to mix. This will add a delightful beer flavor to the cheese mixture.
Adjust the amount of beer to achieve your desired consistency; you may use slightly less or more, depending on your preference.
Add Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all the ingredients are well combined, and the dip is smooth.
