Healthy Whole Wheat Pancakes
Ingredients
1½ cups whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cup milk or buttermilk
2 tablespoons honey
¼ cup unsweetened applesauce
2 large eggs
Directions
In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Whisk in buttermilk, honey, applesauce, and eggs just until combined.
Preheat a flat griddle over medium-high heat.
Scoop ¼ cup of pancake batter onto griddle. Let pancakes cook until bubbles form before flipping.
Cook other side until golden brown. Serve hot.
