Zesty Jalapeno Salt

Ingredients

1 cup sea salt
2-3 fresh jalapenos
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Directions

Preheat your oven to 200°F (95°C). You can also use a food dehydrator to dry until crispy.

Slice the jalapenos in half and remove the seeds for less heat, if desired.

Place the jalapeno halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the jalapenos for about 2 hours until they are dried out and crisp.

In a food processor, combine the dried jalapenos, sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.

Pulse until you achieve a fine consistency and everything is well mixed.

Store your jalapeno salt in an airtight container for up to 6 months.

Use it to season meats, veggies, or even popcorn for a spicy kick!
