7-up Cake

Ingredients

1 cup real butter
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
5 eggs
2 cups granulated sugar
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 Tbls. lemon extract
7 oz. 7-Up® soda (a little less than a cup)

Directions

Cream butter and shortening together. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Sift flour and sugar together and beat into wet mixture. Beat in lemon extract and 7-Up®.

Pour into greased and floured tube (angel food cake) or bundt pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 90 minutes.
