Strawberry Jello Poke Cake
Ingredients
1 box white cake mix (and ingredients listed on the box)
1 box (3 oz) Strawberry Jello mix (or cherry or raspberry)
1 cup hot, boiling water
1 cup cold water
1 tub Whipped topping (Cool Whip)
Directions
Make box cake mix, according to instructions on the back of the box.
Cool the cake for at least 15 minutes, then poke holes in it (using toothpick, fork, or end of a wooden spoon), about every ½ inch.
Next, make Jell-O, according to the box directions with hot and cold water.
Pour or spoon jello slowly over the top of your cake to cover it.
Chill for 3-4 hours to let the cake set, then spread with whipped topping and any fruit, if you are using it. Keep in refrigerator to chill. Enjoy!
