Johnny Marzetti Casserole

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
1 () package sloppy Joe seasoning mix
1 1/4 cups water
4 cups elbow macaroni
1 () can corn, drained
1 (8-ounce) package shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 (4-ounce) can mushrooms, sliced and drained (optional)

Directions

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

To begin, in a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, then drain.
Stir in the tomato paste, seasoning mix, and water, heating and stirring until fully combined.

Spoon the mixture into a 13×9-inch baking pan that has been lightly greased.

Mix in the corn, macaroni, mushrooms (if desired), and 1 cup of cheese.
Bake for 45 minutes, uncovered.

Drizzle with the remaining cheese, then place in the oven until the cheese is fully melted.
