Mom’s Mexican Cornbread Casserole
Ingredients
1 Small Onion, chopped
1/2 Cup Green Pepper, chopped
1 Pound Hamburger
1 Small Can Corn, drained
1 Small Can Tomato Sauce
1/2 Teaspoon Chili Powder
3/4 Teaspoon Salt
Dash Pepper
Directions
Cook hamburger, onion, and green pepper until done, then drain. Add remaining ingredients, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Pour into a greased casserole dish.
Mix up a batch of your favorite cornbread, and pour on top. Bake at 400 for 15 – 20 minutes.
