Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls Soup

Ingredients

2 lbs of Ground Beef or Turkey
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 large onion chopped
1 tsp minced garlic, or to taste
1 small head of cabbage, chopped (4 – 5 packed cups)
2 cans (14.5 ounces each) diced tomatoes
1 small can tomato sauce or tomato soup
1/2 cup water
1 cup long grain rice, uncooked
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp Greek or Italian seasoning

Directions

In a large pot heat your olive oil.

Add your meat and onions and cook till no longer pink.

Add garlic and cook additional minute. Drain off grease.

Add the chopped cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce (or soup), rice, pepper, Greek (or Italian), salt, and water.

Bring to a boil then cover and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes or until cabbage is tender and rice id done.
