Honey Garlic Chicken Breast
Ingredients
3 1/2 tablespoons (50g) unsalted butter (or 2 1/2 tablespoons olive oil)
2 garlic cloves, minced
500g / 1 pound chicken breast, boneless and skinless (2 pieces)
1 tablespoon soy sauce, light or all-purpose
1 1/2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (or white or other clear vinegar)
1/3 c honey (or maple syrup)
1/4 c flour
Salt and pepper
Directions
Horizontally slice each chicken breast into two. Season them with salt and pepper.
Add the flour to a mixing bowl, then add the chicken slice to it. Toss until well coated.
Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium. Set aside 1 teaspoon of the butter, then add the rest into the skillet and allow it to melt.
Add the chicken slices and cook each side for a few minutes until they turn golden brown.
Reduce the heat to medium, then move the chicken slices to one side of the skillet.
Add the reserved butter and allow it to melt. Add the garlic and saute until aromatic.
Add the honey, soy sauce, and vinegar. Stir until well blended. Allow the mixture to simmer until the texture becomes thick.
Toss the chicken and the sauce until well mixed.
