Grandma Honey’s Squash Casserole

Ingredients

2 cups yellow squash
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 small onion, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
salt & pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Butter a 2 quart casserole dish.

Cut squash into small cubes.

Combine squash, onion, soup, sour cream, salt & pepper to taste.

Add a thin layer of cracker crumbs to the bottom of a buttered 2 quart casserole dish.

Add squash mixture on top of cracker crumbs.

Cover the top with more cracker crumbs and dot with butter.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
