Loaded Potato Casserole

Ingredients

1 (32-ounce) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
1 (16-ounce) container sour cream
8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
1 (1-ounce) package ranch dressing mix
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided, or more to taste

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a baking pan with cooking spray or butter.

Combine together hash browns, sour cream, bacon, ranch mix, and 1 cup of cheese in a large bowl. Stir well. Spread onto the baking pan and cover with foil.

Bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the potatoes. Bake until the cheese bubbles, or for about 15 minutes.

Allow the casserole to cool before serving.
