Mom’s Scalloped Corn
Ingredients
2 cans cream style corn
2 cans whole kernel corn, drained
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup milk
1 sleeve saltine crackers, crushed
1/2 cup butter, cut into pieces
1 teaspoon sugar
salt & pepper to taste *
Directions
Preheat oven to 350
Drain whole kernel corn and then mix into cream style corn. Add the beaten eggs, milk, crushed crackers, butter, sugar, salt & pepper.
Pour mixture into a well greased 2 quart shallow casserole dish. Bake for 30 minutes, or knife inserted in middle comes out clean, and no longer jiggly.
* If using salted crackers be careful how much extra salt you add.
